Description
Our natural tansy essential oil for pharmaceuticals is obtained from the species with the botanical name Tanacetum vulgare. The product is known as Tansy natural essential oil for pharmaceuticals. The product has a mobile liquid form and a deep blue-green colour, uniform throughout the whole mass. The colour comes from azulenes, which steam distillation draws out precisely from the flowers of the wild herb. The distillation carries away only the volatile ingredients, so the odour of the product remains pure and strong. The odour reveals itself as fresh and minty, and towards its end a slight sweetness is noticeable. The sweet shade originates from a herb that botanists place among the herbaceous representatives of the family Asteraceae in the temperate regions of almost all of Europe. The plant thrives throughout Bulgaria and occupies dry embankments, river terraces and sunny meadows. The sites remain wild, which is why natural cultivation determines the entire growth of the herb from the first green leaves to its full summer flowering. The wild growth outlines the advantages of the oil, among which the Bulgarian origin and the high volatility of the ingredients stand out. Confirmation of this feature is provided by the scientific studies of the Bulgarian oil of this species, in which oxygenated monoterpenes take the leading share among the volatile compounds. The monoterpenes are part of the fully natural composition of the oil. The composition does without preservatives and without colourants and relies solely on plant substances. The plant substances come from the flowers that enter the distillation during the full summer flowering. The flowers of tansy give the product its entire volatile part.
